Welcome!
The JM&A Group brand identity is a representation of the company—its history, culture, and values. The clear and consistent use of its brand identity system reinforces JM&A Group’s reputation throughout the market and provides cohesiveness across its many communications efforts.
Introduction
JM&A Group is a ‘dealer first’ business focused on helping our partners find their best path to success, plan for the future, and achieve real results. Our long history in the automotive industry started with Jim Moran’s passion for selling cars. That passion grew into JM&A Group — one of the largest, most innovative and diversified companies in the automotive industry.
There’s a reason why we’ve been trusted for over 40 years by dealers across the country. We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with each and every one.

JM&A Group
JM&A Group’s logo is the central element in our visual communications system. Through consistent and repetitive use as a signature device and design element in all of company’s visual communications, the logotype becomes a visual shorthand which identifies the group and symbolically embodies its activities, achievements and goals.

Logo Positioning
For consistent application of the logo, it is important to understand the construction parameters in which it was designed.
The symbol must always have the same height as the logo, and the spacing between them must be equal to the space between the letter M and the letter A.

Safe Zone
Breathing room is essential. A certain amount of clear space should surround the JM&A Group logo and symbol in order to separate it from other communication elements such as text, headlines or imagery. Please observe the area of clear space to ensure clarity and the prominence of the logo.
The required clear space surrounding the JM&A Group logo is equivalent to '&' height.

Minimum Size
The integrity of the logo must be respected at all times. Never recreate or modify in any way. Always use the approved electronic file.
Minimum size refers to the smallest size at which the logo may be reproduced to ensure its legibility. The logo should never be smaller than the sizes shown below.

Color Variation
To ensure that a brand is covered in all instances, a logo is usually available in alternative colors. For us, the logo should primarily be used in its original colors over white, black and other colored backgrounds from our palette. In other scenarios, such as when combined with gradients, our single-color logo is preferred.
So you want to use the JM&A Group logo on a colored background or photography? No problem, these are the proper formats in which to apply it.

Logo Misuse
Consistent and accurate presentation of our logo reinforces awareness of our brand and ensures the legal protection of our identity.
To help avoid misuse, follow standards shown in our brand guide, and use only approved logo files.
Also, avoid using our logo on areas of the image where there is too much action, and always use images in black and white with a duotone overlay.
Logo Download
There are several types of logo files available for you to download.
For printing, the EPS (Vector) files work best as they don't lose any quality when scaled up. Please note, that opening EPS files require specific programs unlike JPG or PNG files.
For digital, the JPG and PNG files works best. Please note that the main difference between JPG and PNG files is that PNG files have transparent backgrounds.
Colors
JM&A Group colors are a key component to our visual identity. That’s because our color palette speaks volumes about the brand. They evoke the emotions and values – feelings of warmth, security, excitement, professionalism - of JM&A Group, and when used repeatedly and in the right way, it strengthens our brand awareness.

Gradients
Gradients, also known as color transitions, are a gradual blending from one color to another, and can be used to add depth to a flat design, create an interesting texture for a background or breathe new life into photography.
JM&A Group gradients should be used sparingly and reduced in colors for certain usages (i.e. photo overlay, digital buttons, and backgrounds).

Fonts
Font selection is a key component in the creation of successful brand communication and in managing a unified brand. Like the color palette, consistency in the use of the brand-approved fonts reinforces brand recognition, identity, and allows all communication to speak with a common typographic voice.
Typography should work in tandem with the overall design, photography, information graphics, and writing to help describe and define the department brand identity.

Graphics
We aim to convey authenticity and connection through our imagery, using photos of people sparingly and strategically. Rather than relying heavily on stock photos, our graphics now focus more on telling the story of the page content through relevant dashboards, screens, infographics, and stat callouts, complementing the content narrative and reinforcing its goals.
In our visuals, we strive to capture the essence of JM&A products and services, showcasing a diverse array of people and settings representative of the automotive industry, resonating with our target audience. By incorporating icons, devices, infographics, charts, and other graphical elements alongside subtle hints of human presence, we create cohesive visual compositions that convey the content more effectively.
While people may still appear in our visuals, they play a supporting role, with the focus shifting towards conveying the product and/or services JM&A offers. We carefully select foreground figures to enhance the composition, avoiding any elements that could detract from the main message, such as recognizable brands or car plates.
Icons
Icons are a graphic abstraction of product characteristics. Each icon should be as clear and simple as possible, follow a consistent graphic unity; and comply with the construction guidelines below.
Icon style
The construction of the icons utilizes common encoding characters, must be empathetic and consistent, using strokes, friendly shapes and soft edges, to create a unique and personal icon system.
![]()
Note: All icons should be the same size when placed in graphics.
A. Bold stroke - overall icons are functional their legibility and quick identification, while keeping the lightness of the element to avoid overcrowd the platform.
B. Rounded shapes - we want to have human interaction in every way possible, that's why our icons are soft and friendly.
C. Rounded end caps - not only the shape is soft, but also the line that draw every icon is rounded to avoid any sharpness.
D. Inside the frame - in all cases, the icons must respect a white squared frame with rounded corners, equivalent to the letter "&" from logo size as a protection area.
E. Duotone - the icons must be always used in two colors from our palette, Pine and Arctic, or in case of dark backgrounds, White and Arctic.
